2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: API call timestamps, endpoints accessed, request volume, and feature usage.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Square: When you subscribe to a paid plan, Square processes your payment information. We receive only a customer ID and subscription status — we never see your full card details.
• Resend: We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (welcome, billing receipts, alerts). Email delivery status (delivered, bounced) is logged.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

1. Provide the Service: Deliver real-time gas fee data, manage your account, enforce rate limits, and process API requests.
2. Process payments: Manage subscriptions, billing cycles, and plan upgrades/downgrades through Square.
3. Send communications: Transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, service alerts) and, with your consent, product updates.
4. Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns, diagnose issues, and develop new features.
5. Ensure security: Detect abuse, enforce terms of service, and protect against unauthorized access.
